I grew up in a very Italian family and neighborhood in Buffalo, NY, where I was introduced to home remedies, folk remedies and herbal concoctions at a very early age.

My family enjoyed natural foods and herbs and incorporated them into our diet throughout the growing season. We ate burdock and dandelion roots and used catnip tea for colicky babies. My grandfather used an herbal tonic in his coffee every morning.

Older family members picked wild mushrooms. The test to determine whether or not they were poisonous was to fry them in an iron pan with a silver dime. If the dime turned black, they were poisonous but if it stayed bright and shiny, they were edible. This was one of many practices based on faith and tradition passed on through generations of my family.

Natural cures for illness were also incorporated into family health practices. Uncle Al used leeches as a remedy and Aunt Jen performed a ritual to cure health problems using a bowl of water. The patient held his fingertips on the rim of the bowl while Aunt Jen dropped olive oil onto the water. As she did this, she said a special prayer and observed the significance of the drops of oil as they made various sized circles on the surface. I was always fascinated with this process and how well it worked if you had a headache, back issue, or even a cold.

As a child, I was inspired; years later, as I completed my Degree in Dental Hygiene, simultaneously and quite by accident, I met a Chinese herbalist who greatly influenced me in Chinese herbs and healing methods. I began to practice them myself and had wonderful results with both bladder and sinus issues. I began to immerse myself into this “new world “of healing arts.

After years of independent study, I completed my Degree in Naturopathy in 1997 and over the years earned varied and numerous certifications related to Natural Health.

I studied homeopathy with Dr. Luc Chaltin of Newton Homeopathic. According to the World Health Organization (WHO), Homeopathy is the second largest medical system in the world that people rely on for their primary health care needs.

Many other teachers followed and finally I opened my first herb shop in 1994 in Clearwater, FL. As I searched for the best possible products, I chose New Sun Products along with a number of other brands.

New Sun Products were on my shelves because of the integrity of the company and their pure formulation. Through my personal research and contact with the owners and formulators, I knew that New Sun Products had been created by some of the brightest minds in the industry. These important factors set New Sun apart as an herb and supplement company that deserved my respect. The most powerful evidence of their quality is that their products have worked.

I had an experience with a mammogram a few years ago. The results showed a calcification, and of course this is always frightening. My doctor wanted me to re-take the test immediately. I asked her if I could have 30 days before they repeated the scan. During this time I started taking RCY-C, #48-6, six daily. On the next scan the same area was now gel-like and I was given a clean bill of health.

Currently, I take a regimen of RCY-C twice a year. It contains chaparral, which is a magnificent herb for a number of serious issues. (See pg. 154, The Ultimate Healing System, Donald Lepore, ND). RCY-C contains Red Clover a blood purifier with many other “high profile” uses.

I also use Colon Health #53-6 along with Magnesium Blend #48-1 for colon cleansing. There are a number of herbal components in Colon Health that are very interesting. The apricot seeds and flax seeds help remove toxins from the colon, liver, and gall bladder as well as helping with digestion.

New Sun Homeopathics are in a spray bottle, tasteless, effective and easy to use. They even have allergy homepathics formulated for the specific regions of the United States that are FDA approved.

Then there is the Miracle Product Line. I have been using these liquid soaps and gels for years. I spray the neutralizer on my face daily. I call it Boo Boo spray for my grandchildren! It is a miracle product for skin burns, irritations, bites, etc.) and healing.

Well, I think I have shed some light on my basic reasons for interest in this field. My passion for learning and expressing the pure essence of natural methods (combined with allopathic measures, as needed) has inspired me to keep you informed of the possibilities that natural products hold for you.

Thank you for your interest. I look forward to having you explore my website.

Yours in good health,
Anida
